Disappointing News For Miami The Coach OF….

Trent Williams, a former offensive lineman for Oklahoma, experienced a moving, even emotional, moment with his family last Sunday on the field.

Williams’ mother, Veronica Williams, interrupted his postgame interview on the field after his San Francisco 49ers defeated Detroit to win the NFC Championship and a spot in Super Bowl 58. Veronica Williams cried happy tears throughout the event.

Veronica Williams sobbed as she remarked, “This has been the longest journey,” on NBC Sports Bay Area’s 49ers Postgame Live. “He has played for the worst team. I’m overjoyed. We intend to attend the Super Bowl. I’m so happy for him.

Williams, 35, has been chosen for the Pro Bowl eleven times and has three years in a row on the first team All-Pro. He was a three-time All-Big 12 and two-time All-American at Oklahoma before being selected by Washington with the fourth overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft. Words really can’t express it, according to Williams. They are genuinely unable to. Man, I’m really very fortunate. I’m really happy with this group. The first nine seasons of his career in Washington, when he played in just two playoff games before missing the entire 2019 season owing to personal and contractual concerns with the team, are included in his mother’s reference to the “worst team.”
