Just in: Mike Norvell drops a shocking truth about QB DJ Uiagalelei and his future with Florida State…

The 2024 college football season has plenty of storylines to offer, but it remains plenty far away. Spring football is here to kick off the process, though. In the meantime, preseason rankings and other forms of rankings will continue to come out ahead of the new season.

One of the recent rankings to come out was Bruce Feldman of The Athletic breaking down the 25 best head coaches across college football. Prior to the 2023 season, Florida State’s Mike Norvell was ranked the No. 23 head coach.

After leading the Seminoles to an undefeated regular season, ACC Championship win and near-College Football Playoff appearance, Norvell moved up to No. 10 in Feldman’s updated rankings, drawing praise for bringing stability to Tallahassee.

“Another really, really good offensive mind. I think the Seminoles got hosed last year by the College Football Playoff committee, but their 13-1 season showed Norvell has built the program back into a powerhouse. Remember, FSU had gone 18-20 in the three years before he arrived. The place was reeling for a few years before he got it going again. In the past seven years, the 42-year-old Norvell has posted four 10-plus winning seasons. In his fourth year at Memphis, he went 12-1; in his fourth year at FSU, he went 13-1,” Feldman wrote.
