The Pakistan cricket team is set to tour Ireland for a three-match T20I series in May. The matches, set to be hosted by Dublin, will serve as Pakistan’s dress rehearsal ahead of the impending T20 World Cup 2024 the following month in West Indies and the United States.

Cricket Ireland have unveiled the entire itinerary of their three-match T20I series against Pakistan in May. Each of the three planned fixtures will be played at the Castle Avenue Cricket Ground in Dublin.

The series will commence on May 10 with the opening T20I, while the second match will be staged on May 12. The series will eventually come to a conclusion on May 14 in the Irish capital.

Shortly after the series in Ireland, the Pakistan cricket team will travel to England for a fresh T20I challenge against the reigning T20 World Cup holders.

The ‘Men in Green’ and the hosts will be facing each other in four matches between May 22 and May 30 at Leeds, Birmingham, Cardiff and London respectively.

As of now, the Pakistan team is lined up to face New Zealand in a five-match series against New Zealand at home in April.

With nearly all Pakistan players having participated in the PSL 2024 season, their 12 upcoming international fixtures against New Zealand, Ireland and England form a part of their roadmap towards this year’s T20 World Cup 2024 in June.
