Prior to their Divisional stage matchup with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, the Detroit Lions made announcements on roster decisions.

Both defensive tackle Tyson Alualu and fullback Jason Cabinda were promoted from the practice squad to the starting lineup. For the second week running, both players have received an upgrade and are eligible to participate on game day.

Julian Okwara was additionally added back to the practice squad.

This season, Cabinda has participated in five games, including last week’s Wild Card game versus Los Angeles. Cabinda was waived after spending a considerable amount of time on injured reserve and rejoining the active roster.

He rejoined the Lions on the practice squad after clearing waivers, and he has been promoted in each of the previous two games.

Alualu has been promoted for the fourth time in a row this week. The 14-year veteran has made three appearances prior, totaling five tackles.
