As quickly as possible'... 24-year-old admits he was in a rush to leave Chelsea for his new club

In the most recent transfer window, Christian Pulisic moved from Chelsea to AC Milan, where he is thriving at the San Siro. The 25-year-old has made 18 Serie A appearances this season, tallying five assists and six goals.
In a recent interview with The Athletic, he expressed his happiness at being at Milan.

Given how well the American is performing there, it is hardly surprising. Expert Taylor Twellman also believes that Pulisic ought to have left Chelsea a year earlier.

Presumably, Pulisic has no regrets regarding his departure from Chelsea.

The USA international stated, “I’m not here to talk about whether it was fair or not back then,” in reference to his transfer from the Blues to Milan. Without a doubt, I’m content with where I am right now. The first several years were excellent. I believe a lot of things in the club have changed over the last few years. This summer, a number of people also moved on, took advantage of new possibilities, and succeeded.

Christian Pulisic’s first two years at Chelsea

Pulisic’s first two years at Chelsea were certainly good. He really excelled during his first season at Stamford Bridge.

The former Borussia Dortmund man came up with 13 goal contributions in 25 league appearances, which is a great return for a young attacker who was playing in England for the first time.

His stats were not as good the following season, but Chelsea managed to win the Champions League during that campaign, something Pulisic would have probably enjoyed more than scoring 30 goals.

Pulisic’s final year at Chelsea, though, was less memorable. The Milan star found the back of the net just once in the top flight as the Blues went on to finish 12th in the table.
